《再見瓦城》27日舉行試片，柯震東、吳可熙片中演情侶，一段激烈吵架戲碼令人印象深刻。柯震東遭吳可熙怒潑冰水，又被賞耳光，導演趙德胤昨受訪，表示光是該場戲就拍了一整天，拍攝前，柯並不知道自己會被打，最後拍了10幾次，趙誇柯反應真實，「就像驚嚇的小狗一樣。」
拍攝前，趙德胤分別要２人一個賞對方巴掌、一個反抱對方，彼此都毫不知情。趙解釋：「希望演員能以真實身體本能來表演，其實我只是做了１％的引導及提示，主要還是他們的爆發力，正式開拍時，１次就達到這樣的張力！」
柯在片中看似呆滯、木訥，吳可熙個性相對堅強。趙德胤說，柯在片中雖然看來保守，愛情價值觀卻很純粹，「因為見的女生不多，所以一眼見到吳，就愛上她，希望她能永久留在身邊。」
該片描述年輕男女到泰國非法打工，存有台灣夢的故事。趙說到現在，很多緬甸人還是嚮往台灣，表示在緬甸打工一個月只能掙得1500元台幣，來台灣工作就像中樂透一般。電影12月９日在台上映。
